Natural Skin Care

There are many ways to care for your complexion. In some instances you may go out and buy a bottle of cleansing ointment or find yourself at a salon for a more detailed treatment. However, there are also some easy and cheap methods you may use at home to achieve a great kind of natural skin care.

First and foremost, get into a habit of washing your face every day. It’s commonly recommended to wash twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed. Use cleansers that include small beads to scrub dead cells off your face. Create your own organic face wash by mixing teaspoons of honey with a little bit of brown sugar. It’s great for a rosy complexion, plus it contains antioxidants!

Mix together part of an oatmeal scrub and a few teaspoons of Tea Tree Oil to create an effective acne-combating mixture. Oatmeal scrubs dead cells away while Tea Tree Oil cleanses and refreshes the pores and washes away dirt. When shopping for acne products to use from the store, try to aim for those that are made mostly of citrus juices.

Another way to combat acne is through making a homemade lemon solution. Simply cut one small fruit in half, squeeze it into a small bowl and soak up the juice with a cotton pad before applying it to the affected areas. Allow it to sit for about thirty minutes before washing it off. Do this at least every other day.

Without moisture your complexion may be prone to flaking or wrinkling. To avoid this, provide your body with its own moisture. First, make sure you’re getting all the essential fatty acids you need by taking Olive, Cod Liver or Flax Seed Oil. Second, making your own yogurt mask once a week will help gain external results faster.

Lastly, what you put inside your body will reflect externally. Oils that contain fatty acids like Olive Oil, Cod Liver Oil, and Flaxseed Oil are some of the most incredibly effective solutions to take internally.
