Pasta Sandwhich

Ingredients:

  1. 1tbsp butter
  2. 1 onion chopped
  3. 3-4 flakes garlic chopped
  4. 1 green chilli finely chopped
  5. 1/3 cup tomato ketchup
  6. 8tbsp cheese grated
  7. 5 slices bread toasted
  8. Salt & black pepper to taste

Method:

  • Fry the onion, garlic in butter. Saute add spaghetti and mix well.
  • Add half grated cheese, green chilli,ketchup, salt, pepper.
  • Spread the spaghetti mixture on toasted & sbuttered bread.
  • Grate some cheese over it and cut.

Paneer and dill sandwich

Ingredients:

  1. 8 brown bread slices
  2. 1/2 tsp finely chopped dill (shepu / suva bhaji)
  3. 2 tbsp butter
  4. For The Filling
  5. 1/4 cup grated fresh paneer (cottage cheese)
  6. 2 tbsp curds (dahi)
  7. 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  8. a few olives , chopped
  9. salt and to taste

Method:

    • Mix the butter with the dill and spread this dill butter on all the bread slices.
    • Mix together the paneer, curds, tomato ketchup, olives, salt and pepper to make the filling.
    • Divide the filling into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
    • Spread one portion of the filling on a brown bread slice.
    • Top with another brown bread slice.
    • Repeat with the remaining bread slices and filling to make 3 more sandwiches.
    • Serve immediately.

 

Vegetable Sandwich

Ingredients

Butter two slices. Liberally apply green chutney on the unbuttered sides of both the bread slices. On one of the slices, start layering with boiled potato slices, cucumber slices, tomato slices, onion slices and capsicum rounds. Sprinkle chaat masala pwd and black pepper pwd on top. Layer with a cheese slice (optional). Top with the bread slice and toast till golden brown. Serve warm with tomato ketchup.

Green chutney recipe:

Grind 1 cup chopped coriander leaves, few mint leaves, 1-2 green chilli, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp salt to a fine paste, adding little water.

Pinwheel Sandwhich

Ingredients

  1. 24 slices of bread
  2. 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  3. 2 tbsp green chutney
  4. 2big boiled potatoes
  5. 2 tsp lemon juice
  6. salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Roll each slice bread with a rolling pin.
  • Make a paste of boiled potatoes then add lemon juice, salt, black pepper, mix it properly.
  • Take a rolled slice bread and then put one layer of tomato sauce then another layer of potato pasteand lastly a layer of green chutney & put on slice roll tightly & put in freezer for 5 minutes.
  • Cut into thin slices& serve.
